DOVE Missions Helps Children in the Dominican Republic

Dove Missions has created and managed youth development outreach programs primarily aimed at serving abandoned, abused, and orphaned kids living on the streets of Puerto Plata.

Since our inception, DOVE hundreds of volunteers have donated time, talent and money to provide education, clean water, clothes, medicine, diapers, and formula to hundreds of desperately poor children and families. We gave support to an orphanage for girls, a hospital, and two homes for disabled children. We painted houses, rebuilt schools, and bought uniforms and supplies for 50 kids. Hammers in hand, we renovated space in our new Vocational and Recreational Center where over 80 children are enrolled.

DOVE also expanded six programs including our Boys and Girls Club and initiated a music program that will teach the children how to make their own instruments, write their own music, and produce their own CD.
